Saudi Arabia and the U.S have been in good ties with each other for more than fifty years, but both the countries are somehow bound to be there for each other in the need of hour. This has happened because the Saudi Kingdom is behind the world in the field of technology and America is in need of oil mostly.
So both the countries are bound to help each other in their relevant fields. Thus maintaining a diplomatic relationship is necessary. Recently, The Saudi Foreign Minister was on a visit to the States and Mike Pompeo the Secretary of the State welcomed him.
Both the countries have shown the emotions indicating the good relation between the two countries. The U.S has bought land in Riyadh to build a new embassy in the capital and more than that they have also agreed with the Foreign Minister to an arms deal.
